On Saturday, October 28, from 6-8pm, Northside will host a Fall-themed event called Trunk-or-Treat, where people will gather, park their cars on the blacktop, decorate the back-end of their vehicle, and pass out candy from their trunks. There will also be food, drinks, photo opportunities, and many fun activities for children. Not only will this event provide a safe, family-friendly environment for trick-or-treaters, but will also allow Northside the opportunity to reach out and serve our local community.
Here are several ways you can volunteer to help make Trunk-or-Treat a successful event:
*Decorating your car
*Donating candy and/or money
*Preparing and/or serving food
*Monitoring an activity
*Helping with clean-up
If you are interested in decorating your trunk or volunteering in another way, please sign-up at the Activities Corner, or email email@example.com, starting this Sunday, September 10. The deadline to reserve your spot will be Sunday, October 22! There will even be a people’s choice award for the best decorated vehicle…so hurry! Space is limited!
We are also in need of donations of candy that can be left in the tubs by the entrances and monetary donations that can be given to Virginia Bogart or the Northside office.
