A Big BLAST Thank You!
BLAST 2023 is in the books! During the month of June, 27 children in 3rd – 6th grade participated in BLAST (Bible Learning And Service Training), giving these kids the opportunity to increase their Bible knowledge while also discovering their personal interests and talents to serve in the church. If you were at church last Wednesday evening, you had the privilege to witness future leaders and workers for the Kingdom as they spoke, led songs, did sign language, put on puppet and drama performances, and practiced their hospitality. THANK YOU BLAST KIDS!
This program would not have been possible without the help of approximately 30 individuals. These wonderful volunteers helped make BLAST a success by planning, teaching, providing snacks, setting up and tearing down, preparing materials, or just being available to lend a hand in any capacity. THANK YOU BLAST VOLUNTEERS!
By signing up your children and grandchildren for BLAST, you emphasized the importance of children knowing God’s Word, applying that knowledge, and utilizing their talents at a young age. God blesses all children with gifts and talents, and I can’t think of a more important way for children to spend part of their summer than by equipping them and creating opportunities for them to use those unique gifts as they learn to become leaders and workers in ministry. THANK YOU PARENTS AND GRANDPARENTS!
