Adopt A Camper (Northside Teen Camp 2025)
As many of you know, our upcoming annual Teen Camp is one of the most spiritually impactful weeks in the lives of our youth. Removed from everyday distractions and immersed in Scripture, worship, and Christ-centered relationships, our teens are given a place to open their hearts to God in a powerful way. Year after year, we witness faith deepen, healthy friendships form, and God-given purpose begin to take root in the lives of our amazing Northside teens. God is present, working, and glorified through this week of focused spiritual growth.
This year’s theme is Altars and Ashes, anchored in Romans 12:1-2. Paul writes, “Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God this is your true and proper worship.” At camp, we are encouraging our teens to lay their lives on the altar, and to surrender their plans, sin, and self-focus, so God can begin the refining work only He can do. What needs to be let go? What is God ready to transform? This isn’t about a one-time emotional high; it’s about learning to offer ourselves daily for God’s purposes and allowing Him to reshape our minds and hearts to know and follow His will.
We believe God will move again this summer. But we need our Northside family to surround this week in prayer. James 5:16 reminds us, “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” We’re inviting you to partner with us by adopting a teen to pray for during the week of camp.
When you adopt a teen, you’ll receive their name and even instructions on how to write to them at camp! Please pray specifically for their spiritual growth, protection, and openness to God’s refining fire. Your prayers could make all the difference in helping a teen surrender their life fully to God.
Prayer matters. Camp matters. Thank you for standing with us. Stop by the Teen Camp Prayer Table on Sunday, July 20 or Wednesday, July 23 to adopt your teen!
