BLAST Off This Summer!
You might be wondering, “What is BLAST?” It is an exciting NEW program for kids at Northside who have just completed the 3rd through 6th grades! BLAST (Bible Learning And Service Training) will provide an opportunity for kids to rotate among several workshops, all while increasing their Bible knowledge and discovering how they can develop and use their talents to contribute to the Kingdom of God.
When and Where? Each Wednesday, starting June 15 and continuing June 22, June 29, and July 6, 12:30-6:00 at the Northside Building
How do I register my child? On Realm! Check your email for a Summer BLAST email from Becky Greenwood with everything you need to know and do to register for BLAST. Click on the REGISTER button at the bottom of the email and it will take you straight to the link in Realm. A list of workshops and descriptions are provided for your child to pick his/her top two favorites and one alternative (in case a favorite is full). Don’t forget to choose a t-shirt size!
When is the deadline to register? SUNDAY, JUNE 5. Don’t delay!
What if my child can’t attend all four BLAST weeks? That’s okay. Go ahead and register them by June 5 and bring them the weeks they can come.
What should my child bring to BLAST? Nothing! There is no charge for BLAST and snacks and drinks will be provided.
What types of workshops will there be at BLAST? Hospitality, Song Leading, Bible Journaling, Conversation with a Crowd, Bible Discovery, Behind the Scenes, Science, Drama, and More! For a full list with descriptions, see your email.
Kids have gifts just like adults do. Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity for them to be taught how to use their gifts for God’s service!
