Know Your Bible – We Need YOU!
The transition from broadcast TV into the online realm has been a challenging, but exciting evolution for Know Your Bible. Did you know that we’ve had over 90 requests for Bible studies since the “new KYB” launched?! Last week, we topped 10,000 views on one of our videos. It takes a bit to get some things going utilizing social media and YouTube, but we’re gaining traction and poised for great things ahead. But, with this growth, comes some specific needs. How will you help???
Like | Comment | Share – We are spending money on online advertising to help get KYB in front of a wider audience. But, we also need organic growth, which requires everyone to participate. If you use YouTube, Instagram, or Facebook, you can help KYB grow and play a part in bringing souls to Christ. We need everyone to engage with our videos and other content weekly! It’s quick and easy and makes a huge difference in spreading our message to a wider audience.
Engage with our audience – We are seeing an uptick in comments. KYB engages with most comments in an official capacity, but we need others who are willing to engage through carrying on biblical conversations via the comments (from your own profile). These platforms are meant to be “social” – so let’s get some conversations going between those looking for answers and those of us who desire to help them come into a better understanding of God’s word.
Analytics – Do you know or want to learn how to look up various analytics within these social platforms to help glean the information needed to make informed decisions about our best next steps? Use of your talents in this area can take us to the next level.
Content Creation – Do you have the ability to help create some of the content we put out regularly? From editing videos to creating attractive graphics for social media, as we grow we’ll need more help in these areas and are looking to learn who has this skillset.
Bible Studies – Help someone study the Bible! We offer mailed and online studies. There’s no easier way to study the Bible with someone and help bring them to Christ! We’re also ready to begin offering in-person studies in the Wichita area, and this is a great way to get involved, if this is part of your skill set.
Prayer Partners – The only way any of our efforts will succeed is with God’s help. We need 100 people willing to pray for KYB. We’ll email you with specific requests to take before our Creator in asking His help and guidance in our new efforts.
If any of the aforementioned list speaks to you, let’s talk! We’re building our volunteer list; some tasks will start right away, some we’ll reach out about as the need arises. Whatever you choose, know that you won’t be doing it alone. We’re here to support you and will provide necessary guidance and training. But, first, we need to know you’re willing to help! Let us know by completing our KYB Volunteer Survey (scan this QR code), by emailing us at knowyourbiblewichita@gmail.com, or by contacting me, Sarah Holt.
