New Area-Wide Quarterly Women’s Event

New Area-Wide Quarterly Women’s Event

You asked, and we are excited to deliver—the Women  Walking With God legacy lives on in a new format!

This special evening will bring together the most meaningful elements of the conference experience—fellowship, singing, prayer, and most importantly, the study of God’s Word—building each other up in an uplifting time of connection.

We are honored to introduce this as the inaugural event of our new community-wide women’s ministry, developed in partnership with area Churches of Christ to strengthen fellowship and cultivate lasting relationships among our local sisterhood. During the first year, gatherings will be held quarterly, with sister congregations hosting in September, November, and February. Our partner host churches include Chisholm Trail, East Point, and RiverWalk. We warmly encourage you to invite women from across the community to attend and participate in each thoughtfully-planned event that will include spiritual content, a shared meal, an insight into community service opportunities, and a CHALLENGE to put into practice Kingdom Living principles.

Northside will host the first gathering on April 11, themed “The One Another Way.” Back by popular demand, our featured speaker, Kathy Bishop, will help guide us in living out God’s commands to love one another, forgive one another, be patient with one another, and more. We sincerely invite you to support this new ministry effort—not only by attending Northside’s event, but also by committing to participate in those hosted by our sister congregations throughout the year.

For ongoing updates and event information, please join our Facebook page, Wichita Women Walking With God, where you may RSVP for the April 11 gathering. You may also RSVP by scanning the QR code below or by contacting the Northside church office. In the coming weeks, designated Collaboration Team members from each congregation will meet to establish an official name and logo for this ministry. If you are interested in serving or becoming involved in our new endeavor, please contact our representatives, Cammie Nelson or Sara Proctor, as there will be many new opportunities to participate.

Now, more than ever, we recognize the importance of unity among our sisters in Christ. We look forward to this meaningful new chapter of service in our community. We pray we will all grow in unity and serve and love as Jesus did, so that the world might know Him.

For His Kingdom,

Northside Collaboration Team: Cammie Nelson & Sara Proctor
