Eric Brazill (pronounced like the country Brazil) grew up in Towanda and graduated from Circle High School in 1971. He served in the Marines for six years from 1976 through 1982, was stationed in Okinawa for a year, then was in South Korea for a while, but mostly spent his time at Camp Pendelton in California as an Antitank Missile Gunner. Eric worked at the Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation near Burlington for 12 years as a design draftsman in the engineering department. He then worked for 23 years for Case New Holland at their skid steer manufacturing plant in Wichita, retiring in 2017. Eric and his wife, Nikki, were married for almost 41 years before she passed away in January 2022. Their children include a daughter, Clorisa (Missouri), a son, Zac (Louisiana), and a daughter, Jesse (Texas). Eric is also a proud grandpa of nine grandchildren. He enjoys bicycling, hitting golf balls, and spending time in the mountains of Colorado, where he has a cabin on ten acres of land.
Jett Barton was born in Gainesville, TX, and lived there until he was 11, then moved to Aledo, TX, where he graduated from high school in 2019. After attending Texas Tech University for a while, Jett finished at Wichita State last fall, earning a degree in industrial engineering. During his 2.5 years at WSU, Jett was blessed to be able to work 30 hours/week as an intern, and now he works full-time for the Reverse Engineering Lab at the National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR), where he does 3D scanning to create blueprints for a fleet of jumbo jets. Having grown up in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Jett has been a lifelong fan of the Cowboys and the Texas Tech Red Raiders football programs. He also enjoys going for walks in nature, and his favorite place to do that in Wichita is the 2.5 miles of trails in Chisholm Creek Park near the Great Plains Nature Center. A few years ago, Jett began listening to audio books. He especially likes to read books on theology and high fantasy. He also reads the Bible a lot that way and enjoys listening to books by the well-known Christian apologist, C.S. Lewis. It was all that Bible and theology reading that led Jett to learn more about Christianity, and he was baptized at Northside on July 3 of last year. Jett is already very involved in the activities of the college-age group and other Northside ministries.
