Rebirth of Ambassadors
Several years ago, we had an important ministry called Ambassadors here at Northside. Those who volunteered with that ministry contacted our guests in several different ways to make them feel welcome and encourage them to visit again.
I’m happy to tell you that the Ambassadors ministry is restarting, and we need volunteers of all ages!
If you decide to become an Ambassador, there are several ways that YOU will be able to help our guests feel welcome:
¨ You can send handwritten cards to them.
¨ You can call them for a quick chat on the phone.
¨ Or you can call ahead to get their okay and then make a brief, front-porch visit to thank them for worshipping with us. We’ll also have you give them some Northside information and maybe even some homemade cookies.
Did you know that as many as 60% of those who visit a church at least three times eventually become members? The primary goal of our Ambassadors ministry is to help our guests feel welcome and want to visit again so hopefully someday they will want to become a part of the Northside Family.
