I am so very excited for the opportunity to be the male intern for this summer. Since my time in the youth group I have had the desire to come back and intern for Northside and I am so very thankful for the chance that I have been given this summer to do just that.
As we begin the summer I am excited to experience all of the great things that I remember from my time in the youth group including Workcamp, service projects, and Teen Camp. I believe that these events have a great impact on the youth group and the growth of the Northside teens. Beyond these events that we do every summer, I am stoked for the many new activities that our teens will get to be involved in this summer.
This summer the teens are going to have the chance toexperience so many new and different activities that will challenge them to get out of their comfort zone. With two amazing mission trips planned and new activities throughout the summer, I believe this summer will give the Northside teens the opportunity to put their faith into action and follow Jesus’ Great Commission. I believe this summer the teens will have the chance to live out what Jesus calls for in Matthew 28:19-20, “Therefore go and make disciples of allnations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
I am so thankful for the opportunity I have been given to be a part of the Northside youth group for another summer, and I am especially excited for the teens to get the chance to move out of their comfort zones and share their faith in new and exciting ways.
