“Where do you land with things you don’t understand?”

“Where do you land with things you don’t understand?”

All throughout scripture we have examples of things occurring that we don’t fully understand. For instance, I don’t understand why God allowed Job to be treated and handled so horrifically by Satan?  Or why Enoch got called up to walk with God and never experience death? Why was Cain so concerned about Abel’s offering being blessed?  What did Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego share with others about their experience in fiery furnace?  Or how about individuals in scripture who were raised from the dead? I mean really, what did they see while on the others side & why did they get to come back? It’s a huge understatement to say most human beings have a driven desire to know or understand things outside our ability to fully comprehend or control. We are a very curious and often precarious part God’s creation to say the least.

So, as Christian’s who believe and seek to apply the Godly principles we have studied and talked about for years. How well do we individually and collectively practice letting go of our fears or drawn conclusions for trusting God to reveal to us in His time exactly what we need to know verses what we spend time attempting to control or predict? All throughout God’s inspired word we find examples of mankind choosing to make it their absolute business to insert themselves in circumstances or situations above their pay grade, need to know, or before receiving an invitation to be involved. Then there are examples of those who are so busy involving themselves with matters that pertain to the job or task they’ve been assigned that they rarely entertain contemplating or trying to figure out things that are not in alignment with things they’ve been commissioned to do.

Deuteronomy 29:29 “ The Lord our God has secrets known to no one. We are not accountable for them, but we and our children are accountable forever for all that he has revealed to us, so that we may obey all the terms of these instructions.”

So, as we enter this new year of 2024 (election year) be mindful and accountable to standing resolved in trusting and knowing God’s plans has and always will supersede and take the lead over and beyond man’s plans. Trust His process and His plans and everything will go well with your soul if your heart is consecrated, centered & circumcised by Him!
