Children’s Classes
Raising children to know and love God
Through a variety of ministries we care for and train children from diapers to discipleship. Teachers and helpers are equipped to effectively teach little ones the basics of Christianity.
Our Little Lamb classes are in the early childhood education wing. They consist of four classes which are theme based. Each class has 2-3 teachers.
The 5 year – Kindergarten class has their own room with the same teachers who incorporate each of the “Safari to the Son” workshops over six weeks. This is to help these younger children to feel more secure and to have more stability.
Our Safari to the Son classes are in the elementary wing and are for 5 yr olds through 4th graders. This curriculum is an “expedition” built on the workshop rotation model of teaching. Six different workshops are destinations on the expedition. Our Loft 252 class is a group of 5th and 6th graders striving to follow the example of Christ, who, despite his youth, was looked on with respect and recognized for growing in wisdom and knowledge of the scriptures. This very special group of young people are also known as “CrossTrainers” and are undergoing a rigorous training program to enhance their spiritual abilities and knowledge of the Bible. The name of the class is taken from Luke 2:52 “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.” more details >>
