A big part of being a Christian is people. These ministries focus on building relationships, helping new members fit in, and the celebration of new beginnings.
Northside strives to have sound Bible teaching. On Sunday mornings at 9 there are five classes for adults of different life stages and on Wednesdays evenings we all meet together at 7 for a short devotional, and then there are several topical classes to choose from. The life stage classes also serve as fellowship groups which have monthly activities.
When you become member of the Northside Family you are given the opportunity to participate in a two-hour orientation class with other new members. Twice a year, new members are also invited to a catered dinner with Northside’s elders, deacons, ministers and their families.
Every year about half of the members at Northside spend Memorial Day weekend together at one of the best camp facilities in the country. Family Camp offers Bible classes for all ages, games, fun activities, campfire devotionals, and a wonderful talent show to wrap things up. You don’t want to miss this!
A diversity of ministries encourage women to study principles for daily living found in God’s Word and help them apply those principles to their lives. This encouragement comes in the form of group teaching times, home Bible studies, and one-on-one.
