
James and Peggy Wilson
James and Peggy came to Northside in 1973 when James transferred here with NCR. James worked for NCR and IFR Systems and is now retired.
Born and reared in Corpus Christi, James met Peggy in Austin (her hometown), while they were attending the University of Texas at Austin. They both have a Master’s degree, James in computer science and Peggy in mathematics. Peggy worke for Sedgwick County Information Services and is also retired.
Becoming a deacon in 1982, James coordinated our Fellowship activities and directed Family Camp (one of Northside’s largest annual events) for eight years. He also taught a number of adult classes. James has served as an elder since 1993. Peggy helped start the Cradle Roll class at Northside and has taught primary classes and Vacation Bible School. James and Peggy were part of the team that started the Wednesday night suppers.
James and Peggy enjoy attending sporting events together. James also umpires fast pitch softball and Peggy enjoys reading, crocheting, and playing the clarinet.
They have three grown children, and three grandchildren.
