Anita Weathers
Children's Education Coordinator
Anita was raised in Topeka, KS, and graduated from Oklahoma Christian University. When her younger child started kindergarten, she continued her own education to pursue a career as an academic language therapist. For 16 years, she worked in schools helping children with dyslexia and other learning challenges.
She and her husband, Jim, have been members of Northside since 1998. They have two sons and two grandsons. Brenden and his wife, Cara, and two sons live in Wichita and attend Northside. Brady and his wife, Katie Beth, live in Clarksville, TN.
Anita has been the Children’s Education Coordinator at Northside since August 2021. She has a passion for training children to serve in the Kingdom. She enjoys baking, reading, crocheting, college basketball, playing with the grandkids, and family vacations.
